Hi everybody. I learned some great lessons out on the boat recently. Those mahi mahi are in some serious trouble the next time I go out. This may help someone thinking about doing the mods I performed.

Hey Forte could you drill two holes thru that center rigger rod holder and thru your leaning post where it is attached and run a stainless steel bolt and nut thru it to keep it from moving. Welding it might ruin the powder coat on the leaning post and that could be costly to recoat it. Just a thought for an easy quick fix. BTW, I love that shot of your wife and son with their shades on just before the end of the intro. Thanks for the videos. Good luck and tight lines.

Really nice vid. For the ring part, have you thought of just applying some sort of poly-tack to the top part of the ring so it's more uniform all around? Should be much easier than fully changing it to welded one

Awesome ideas guys. I have heard the same suggestions from a number of people now and I think I will be performing both of these upgrades. Thanks.

I would use some JB weld epoxy on the rings for the teaser reel line. Just use a small amount enough to fill in the void between the crack.

Do you have a transom rod holder? Why not fish it from there instead of the leaning post?

No transom rod holder but, it's fixed now. I tapped a hole for a M6-1 cap screw through the rod holder and into the rocket launcher bar. No more tilting.
