Blockade Runner- I get a large Orange crab pot bouyand cut out a large V wedge out of the middle about 3 inches deep and 4 inches wide.. I tie on about two feet of good rope through the eye of the sash weight. Make a big loop and tie on at least 200 feet of parachute cord to the loop. Parachute cord won't cut your hands pulling in the weight. Tie on the other end of the cord .to the center of the notch in your crab pot bouy . Wind it on . You are ready to drop. Keep the bouy in the boat the first time you deploy it. After hitting bottom pull off an extra 30 feet then tie on a couple of half hitches. Let the line tighten up on the bouy. drive back to the bouy and see where your ledge or school of fish is. Note the direction of the bouy to the weight so you don't catch the bouy on your first pass. Drift at least 50 yards to figure out your drift course. Note a sw current and a ne wind can be tricky
