I would like to get into hog hunting. I was told that there are places in this state that are eat up with them to the point that land owners are looking for help controlling them. We don't have feral hogs where I live in eastern wake yet so, If anyone has this problem or knows someone who does, pm me, I would love to help....

Of course I wouldn't be intending to hunt hogs during deer season so if anyone has trouble with wild hogs and you want someone to kill a few just pm me. Still looking for somewhere to get some hog hunting in after hunting season is over. I don't use dogs I prefer to sit or stalk and glass.

I have heard that the Croatan Forest has tons of them but that is second hand info so take it for what it is worth
I am going on my first hog hunt this weekend up in Virginia. Will be deer hunting during the day and hog hunting at night. Should be interesting!

bambam, I hope you find some hogs to hunt. I live in SE NC and worked in Myrtle Beach for 5 years. My experience is everyone complains about the hogs and claim they want them gone. When I tell them I would love shoot one they all have a melt down and said "no, you can't kill my hogs!" Good Luck.

That's funny. Sounds about like people these days.
I am catering a wedding party today so I got some hogs yesterday. Had to pay for them though....lol
It was a late night for me and the cooker and the chop box....lol

Hogs in the Croatan are about like Sasquatch; you hear about them being seen but it is always 3rd hand or greater info. Allegedly there are some in the western (Hwy 58) area; But I have never talked to the actual person that saw them.
