This is a quik simple Reefcast How To.....


First go to ReefCast.....
http://www.fryingpantower.com/modules.php?name=ReefCast

Then select your options....



This is the regular ReefCast Output.....



This shows the last 5 model runs.....If the runs are close to each other.....it is a good forecast.



Reefcast with Extra Wave Data

Dave, what has happened to the 2nd wave data? On these days with higher wind I'm sure it still has to be a factor.

It use to show the 2nd red line. Didn't that basically identify the size and direction of the chop?

Look in the first part of the bottom pic. It is there but only if there will be a second sea.

Right, and with all of the wind recently surely there has been a 2nd sea. However, I haven't seen the 2nd red line on there in a month or so.

I will keep an eye on it....it will only show if the there is a period difference....so I will have to watch it here over the next couple of days. Thanks for letting me know!!
