Let me start out by saying I'm not connected with Academy Sports or Game Winner stands in any way, but know a deal when I see one and wanted to pass it along.
I was at Academy in Greenville(to pick up a pistol lol ) and saw this stand. Read a couple of reviews and decided to try 1. Carried it to the woods Sunday and 3 of us had it together and up in 2 1/2 hours. (didn't use the "wrenches" that came with it, cordless drills and sockets). I can't say enough about how well it was laid out and the ease to put together. Came with the ground stakes too. Unreal how sturdy it is and the 5X5 platform makes it great for those of us with kids or grandkids. The adjustable shooting rail is the heat! Anyone looking, I highly recommend you check these out, I've got climbers that cost more, and you can't build one out of pressure treated lumber for the $.

Yeah, but not sure it's worth it. My wife bought it and brought it home. I think if I take it down after the season it will last a few years, but after it's gone I'll build my own. I swear these stands are unreal. Sooo much better than digging holes and pouring Quickcrete. You could pull the stakes out, lean it over and move it with a 4-wheeler. I was honestly shocked when I saw the price, figured it was crap, but thought I'd try one, better than I ever imagined, I'll buy more.
I even went on Academy's site yesterday and wrote a review on it, and I NEVER do that!

If you get one, use drill and 10mm, 11mm, and 13mm sockets!!! wtg

Good luck, Stuart

Cool..thx for the info. We have used one that looks about the same for a long time. Like the over head aspect of the cover so I might give it a try also. Take care!

I am equally impressed with the Game Winner ladder stands. I bought one this year and will replace all of mine with them in coming years.

Plenty of deer George, just not the right size. We have a self imposed management system. If you kill a buck that's not at least 8 points and 17"inside, you have to pay $100.00 before you can hunt again. Other than a couple of culls, not a whole lot of shootin going on. Hate to shoot nannies right now....live bait! lol

I first saw these stands in Texas at Academy and thought how nice they looked for the money. Don't see them on their website anymore.

I just saw this and went to their site and don't see them anymore. eek When I google them other brands show up. Wonder if they were being made just for Academy? Crap, wish I had known, would have liquidated their inventory for them. We did end up with 3 more of them at the club, other guys liked them too.

Not as it stands right now George, still trying but about out of options. They re-arranged our coverage here at work so now I’m on that weekend.
