Congrats! Did you get a Rhodan or Minn Kota? We installed ours over the weekend and hope to get out on the water Wednesday.

Here she is everybody. My wife and my oldest son helped me with the install. The skeg looks like it is resting on the winch, but it's not.

Looking forward to seeing videos of the new toy in action, with the Triggerfish Slayer doing work!

We tie a break away on our anchor eye and the chain attached at the turn (near the tip\end) on our plow anchor. This has greatly reduced losing them, but this post has me intrigued enough to check into a Rhodan.

Per their customer service person, the 36v will handle boats up to 15,000 lbs and 24v - 6,000 lbs. Just thought I would share the info as I didn't see it on their website.

That's quite impressive if it performs.

Is that thing smart enough to know when it has wrapped the cord around the shaft a few times, when holding position?

I dont know about the Rhodans but the Minn Kotas know when to unwrap themselves.

I could not tell you. I will be taking Phin Chaser out tomorrow so I will see if it unwraps itself if the cord gets wrapped around the shaft.

Let me know how it goes, and if their are any learning curves. I will do the same sir. Good Luck and catch them up Wed.

Thank You Sir,

Rhodan, I mounted it on my Sailfish 266. I will be trying it out in a couple weeks. Cant wait as i hear this is a game changer. I fish with my father who is 71 and its hard on me pulling the 16.5 Plow anchor every stop, so this is to increase fishing time for us. and allow us to fish deeper and anchor out on the break for jigging in 300 plus, something we haven't bone before.

Well everybody. I am not able to give you a review of the trolling motor. My son had a pain crisis last night into this morning so we did not take the boat out. I hope to have a review soon.

sorry man. I keep hoping to get a look at this thread with somebody telling how awesome the thing is. Your post was polar opposite of that. Hope you get things sorted out and you can get back on the water soon.

Sorry to hear about your son and I hope he is feeling better. You are going to love that Rhodan for bottom fishing. You'll be able to work reef complexes with precision you could never do using a hook.

Thanks everyone. Thor wanted to give everyone an update on his status. Still no fishing for us.

Hang tough. I know that's got to be hard, knowing there's not a lot you can do.

Thor and Rodney, I tried to sign up but they tell me I'm too old to be a tissue donor. 18-44 is the age range they are looking for. I past 44 a long time ago. Us older folks can still contribute to the research and adding to the registry.
