I was looking at Davis canal in Oak Island and was wondering about the depth of it looking at maybe getting a boat slip in it what is others opinion. I have a 33 foot center consol

You will be fine. I live on the Canal and have a 33' Hydra Sport on the lift.

We have a house all the way back on 6th st SE and have our 30 ft on the lift as well.
Plenty of water all the way back.
