Finally decided to put an AP on my boat. Was not too difficult. Hardest part about the install in my opinion was determining the layout and dealing with the hydraulics. Decided to omit the Garmin Shadow Drive, since I read so many people were having issues with it. Completed the Dockside Wizard last night. As soon as this wind dies down, I will put it in the water to complete the Sea Trial Wizard. First time having Auto Pilot on my boat so I am anxious to try it out.

While installing the AP, I cleaned up the messy wiring job that a local Marina/boat repair shop previously did when installing trim tabs and VHF. This was before I knew anything about Marine Electronics. From now on I will do my own work if possible.

Will do thanks. I realized I mounted the CCU too close to the pump so I will be moving that before I perform the sea trail Wizard.

Thank you. After 10,000 text messages, numerous calls/FaceTime to you for advice and assistance, I finally got the install completed. Will bring your bleed hose back to you sometime this week.

If you travel offshore a lot your going to love that auto pilot and probably wonder why you haven't installed one sooner. Good luck and enjoy.

You really messed up this time!

Now you will never own another boat without it! Best addition Iíve ever made. It makes the long ride home much nicer; just lean back and babysit.

Yes Sir. Also itís usually hard for me to find a crew or experienced crew to troll. This will help a lot when having to assist the guys in the back who have never trolled or gaffed a fish.

Tested the AP. Worked great. Canít wait to take it offshore. Would have went out today but the wind picked up early so it would have not been worth it. Hopefully soon.
