After hunting with the same rifle for over 35 years(.270), I decided I HAD to have a new rifle. I really liked the looks of the Ruger American Rifle and after talking to a lot of people and reading endless reviews, got the .308 and put a 50mm Nikon on it. Guys, I am VERY IMPRESSED. If you are looking for a great shooting rifle that won't break the bank, check these out. I'm shooting the Federal Premium 165gr. BTSP and you talk about accurate and knockdown, it's there! wtg

Nah, replenished the sausage supply this past weekend, they're safe now....UNLESS, their inside spread is around 20", then they better duck!!! lol lol lol
