Been using it for about 10 years as needed on a 30 yr old hull. Great compound for oxidation. Do about a 2' by 2 section at a time, but it is easy to work with.

Don't use the wax. I have used it several times and the UV protection isn't great. My boat has blue gelcoat and needs a good wax. Love the buffing compound though.

I havenít used buff magic compound. I will tell you what I and most of the detailers I know use. Automatic #87 compound. I have used a lot of different compounds over the years, but Automagic is darn good and very well priced at $55 a gallon retail.

I had a fairly signicant amount of oxidation on a small section of my RV and tried Buff Magic at the recommendation of a friend. Within minutes the oxidation was gone and looked like new again. I found it very easy to apply.

NCS auto paint supply in Wilmington. Their address is 5633 Market Street, however They donít have a driveway on Market Street you have to turn on the side street a hundred feet north and drive in behind. Itís right beside the Strip Club, not that you, I or certainly anyone on this site has ever been there.....😉.

Anyway just go into the counter and ask for it. They sell so much of it they keep it right behind the counter. NCS is a wholesaler but they also to non account holders too. I donít have an account with them and buy from them all the time.

I compounded ,polished waxed the boat Saturday per cheeks info and I have to say for my first try I think it turned out extremely good for a black boat. thanks for all the info it helped more than I can say. that job is some labor intensive stuff and I change tractor and loader tires. when those guys give a quote for detailing don't think your paying to much if its done right.

Awesome! Glad to hear it went well. Yes, it is alot of work to remove oxidation correctly. I eat Advil like candy.
