Y'all have probably already discussed this one... but looking for the pro's & con's of going in together with another person to purchase a boat. And any tips to do & communicate prior to going in to the deal.

Thanks in advance.

Unless you cant afford to go it alone if the partnership dissolves. I would avoid a partnership.

Good way to end a friendship. My brother and I purchased a boat once. I was a fisherman and he wanted the boat spotless. He got married and I said lets sale. I purchased the same boat back the next year. We still fished together but I told him not to worry about blood and guts until the end of the day. I don't mean not wash the blood off but it did not have to stay spotless all day. It worked better that way. He was still my best friend until the day he passed away.

I too made that mistake. My partner said he didnít know I was going to use it so much, thatís why I bought a boat to use it. Now it never interfered with when he was going to use it. I also payed for 2 1/2 of 3 services to him paying for 1/2 of one service out of 3.
Donít do it, too complicated.

I've heard that you don't need a partner except for sex and you can get by without that !!!
