Living in New England, I'm accustom to going on a party boat targeting pollock and haddock. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what party boat fishing is like in your local area? Do you catch much? What do you catch and where?

For example, when you leave port in New England you usually go out about 2.5 hours before you drop anchor. In the summer we only go about 45 minutes out and catch mackerel. That's fun, because when they find them it's non stop action. We don't have much variety on fish. You are pretty much getting Pollock, Haddock, Cusk, Acadian Red Fish, maybe some Cunners. From the shore in the summer you are targeting Stripers. Usual bait for Stripers are clams and mackerel. Fly patterns that work are the closure minnow, usually chartreuse.

I try to record my sessions to give you a feel for what Maine fishing is like. I'm curious about what it's like in other parts of the country. I went fishing in Florida years ago, and was blown away by the different types of fish you can get on outing. If you have videos, I'd love to see the gear and the types of fish you target. Thanks.
