I am looking at a new boat. All of the boats that I am looking at have a Ray-marine C120 unit. I have about 1000 way points on my Garmin SD card. Does anyone know how these can be transferred to a Ray-marine? I am thinking that the C120 has a slot for an SD card. But would it be able to read the Garmin data? Hoping that it would just be plug and play.

Found this on another site, you know, the one that claims Truth
Well, I figured it out finally. I used mapsource to create a GPX file then I downloaded Raytech (the free version) and imported my waypoints and routes. Then using Raytech I exported the data using the feature that creates 'A FILE THAT THE C/E SERIES UNDERSTANDS" and put this file on a CF card. Finally I started my GPS and everything imported perfectly routes and all.
